1. Thanks to the relatively high atomic number, high density and wide band-gap, CZT detector possesses sharp energy resolution and high detection efficiency without cryogenic cooling. A prototype planar CZT detector with sensitive volume of Φ 8mm×1.7mm has been fabricated and the gamma-ray spectra of 241Am were obtained. At room temperature (22℃) and for the 59.54keV peak, the FWHM can achieve 2.06keV, while no polarization is observed and stability is very satisfactory.
我们实验室已制成Φ8×17立方公厘灵敏体积的CZT探测器,室温22℃下对241Am放射源、59.54keV能量的γ射线能量分辨率可以达到/2.06keV,连续测量没有极化效应,并且具有很好的长期稳定性。
